Motorcyclist Killed in Texarkana Crash; Driver Flees Scene

Texarkana, Arkansas Police are investigating a deadly crash involving a motorcycle Wednesday night.

Police say an officer found a driver appearing unconscious behind the wheel near North State Line Avenue and Texas Boulevard. When the driver suddenly woke up, police say he accelerated away.

The vehicle later collided with a motorcycle at Realtor Avenue and North State Line. The motorcyclist died at the scene.

The suspect vehicle crashed, caught fire, and the driver fled. Arkansas State Police and Texarkana Arkansas Police are investigating and working to identify and locate the suspected driver.
