A man accused in a May homicide is now back in Miller County to face charges.
The Miller County Sheriff's Office says 41-year-old Joseph Richardson has been extradited from Texas after refusing to return voluntarily following his arrest in Bowie County. Richardson is charged with first-degree murder in connection with the May 22 death of Clay Walker.
He also faces charges of possession of a firearm by certain persons and first-degree endangering the welfare of a minor. Richardson is being held on a one-million-dollar bond, along with a petition for revocation that carries no bond. He's scheduled to appear in court July 21.
