Texarkana Texas Police are responding to a photo circulating online showing officers restraining a woman during an arrest Sunday afternoon on Bowie Street. Police say the woman, a passenger in a traffic stop, gave a false name and resisted arrest, biting and grabbing an officer.
Officers used approved restraint techniques, including a head control tactic and later a full-body restraint device, to safely gain compliance. Police say the woman was not injured and now faces multiple charges, including probation violation, resisting arrest, and assaulting a public servant.
