Two men have been arrested in a cold case killing from more than 11 years ago. Court records show 30-year-old Demontrae Collins and 28-year-old Cameron Cheatham are charged with capital murder in the 2014 shooting of 25-year-old Xavier Rollins at River Crossing Apartments in Texarkana, Texas.
Investigators say DNA evidence eventually linked both men to the crime after years without a match. Cheatham was identified last year, and Collins became a suspect earlier this year. Bond for Cheatham is set at $1 million, while Collins’ bail is just over $1 million. Both could face life in prison if convicted.
